I finished reading The Sweet Scent of Blood by Suzanne McLeod this morning, and i was frustrated with myself for not having bought this book before! Really what was i thinking?
So i ordered the second book right away, and i can't wait to put my hands on it.
I'm always sad to see that there aren't many reviews on the French Amazon Website, and most of the time there isn't even the book synopsis! So i try to change that...
I just finished writing a small review for the French amazon HERE . I only review there the books i'd give 5 stars to, and The Sweet Scent of Blood deserved it. I wish i could write amazing reviews, but i've never been the one to explain myself easily ,still it conveys the message i wanted...READ this book, you won't regret it, that's the most important part.

As to my reading...
Next month book 2 of the Jane Jameson series by Molly Harper will be released.
I LOVED the first book it was a real plesure to read and i was sad when it ended i wanted more!
Jane is now the latest recipient of a gift basket from the Newly Undead Welcoming Committee, and her life-after-lifestyle is taking some getting used to. Her recently deceased favorite aunt is now her ghostly roommate. She has to fake breathing and daytime hours to avoid coming out of the coffin to her family. She’s forced to forego her favorite down-home Southern cooking for bags of O negative. Her relationship with her sexy, mercurial vampire sire keeps running hot and cold. And if all that wasn’t enough, it looks like someone in Half Moon Hollow is trying to frame her for a series of vampire murders. What’s a nice undead girl to do?'
The second book which will be released in August 2009 is called Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men
(spoilers in the book description below, if you haven't read the first book yet you should not read below)
'Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she's an eternal bridesmaid -- which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read. While Jane is trying to master undead dating, she is also donning the ugliest bridesmaid's dress in history at her best friend Zeb's Titanic-themed wedding. Between a freaked-out groom-to-be, his hostile werewolf in-laws, and Zeb's mother, hell-bent on seeing Jane walk the aisle with Zeb, Jane's got the feeling she's just rearranging the proverbial deck chairs.
Meanwhile, Half Moon Hollow's own Black Widow, Jane's Grandma Ruthie, has met her match in her latest fiancé. He smells like bad cheese and has a suspicious history of dead spouses. But Jane's biting her tongue. After all, would a nice girl really think she has a future with a vampire?'
The 3rd book will be released in December 2009 it is called Nice Girls Don't Live Forever .
Molly Harper's book made me laugh out loud like never before. I had a great time and i can't wait for the next book to be released.
If you like your supernatural book with a huge dose of humour you should definitely check it out!

This book is The Hollow by Jessica Verday , it will be released on September 1st 2009:
'When Abbey's best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead and rumors fly that her death was no accident. Abbey goes through the motions of mourning her best friend, but privately, she refuses to believe that Kristen is really gone. Then she meets Caspian, the gorgeous and mysterious boy who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen's funeral, and keeps reappearing in Abbey's life. Caspian clearly has secrets of his own, but he's the only person who makes Abbey feel normal again...but also special.
Just when Abbey starts to feel that she might survive all this, she learns a secret that makes her question everything she thought she knew about her best friend. How could Kristen have kept silent about so much? And could this secret have led to her death? As Abbey struggles to understand Kristen's betrayal, she uncovers a frightening truth that nearly unravels her -- one that will challenge her emerging love for Caspian, as well as her own sanity.'

A book i am waiting for is DawnBreaker by Jocelynn Drake
This is the 3rd book of her Dark Days series. I already talked about this book but now i have the cover and cover blurb to go with!
The cover is absolutely gorgeous in my opinion, i think the choice of colors is amazing, and the model is beautiful. What do you think?
Those of her race fear Mira for the lethal fire she bends to her will -- a power unique among nightwalker, both a gift ... and a curse.
The naturi despise Mira for what she is -- as they prepare for the final sacrifice that will destroy the barriers between the worlds. And once the naturi are unchained, blood, chaos, and horror will reign supreme on Earth.
Mira can trust only Danaus, the more-than-mortal vampire slayer, though he is sworn to destroy her kind. And now, as the days approaches when titanic forces will duel under cover of darkness, destiny draws then toward an apocalyptic confrontation at Machu Picchu. But all is not lost, for a wild card has been dealt to them: a rogue enemy princess who can change the balance of power and turn the dread tide."
We're talking about this book on the discussion board , come and join us at The Dark Room
